ЦитатаНЬЮ-ЙОРК, 21 октября. /ТАСС/. Первая независимая коммерческая космическая станция может быть создана к 2027 году. Соответствующее заявление опубликовано в четверг на сайте американской корпорации Lockheed Martin.
Ожидается, что над проектом станции Lockheed Martin будет работать совместно с частными американскими компаниями Nanoracks и Voyager Space в сотрудничестве с Национальным управлением США по аэронавтике и исследованию космического пространства.
Проект, получивший название Starlab (звездная лаборатория - англ.), ставит целью "проведение важных научных исследований, стимулирование производства и поддержание американского присутствия на низкой околоземной орбите". "Ожидается, что начальной готовности к эксплуатации Starlab удастся достигнуть к 2027 году", - указывается в документе.
Планируется, что станция будет состоять из надувного жилого модуля, стыковочного модуля, двигательного отсека, роботизированного манипулятора и лаборатории. На станции на длительной основе смогут размещаться четыре астронавта. Кроме того, Starlab сможет принимать космических туристов и участвовать в реализации тех или иных коммерческих и бизнес-проектов.

ЦитатаТАСС, 25 октября. Американские компании Blue Origin и Sierra Space объявили о планах построить коммерческую космическую станцию. Соответствующее заявление размещено в понедельник на сайте компаний.
"Blue Origin и Sierra Space сегодня объявили о планах по [созданию] коммерческой <...> космической станции Orbital Reef, которая будет располагаться на низкой околоземной орбите", - говорится в заявлении, опубликованном на сайте Blue Origin.
Помимо них в проекте примут участие компании Boeing, Redwire Space, Genesis Engineering Solutions, а также Университет штата Аризона.
Согласно релизу, станция начнет функционировать в период между 2025 и 2030 годами.

Об этом сообщил во вторник на брифинге для журналистов руководитель Национального управления США по аэронавтике и исследованию космического пространства Билл Нельсон.
"Данные изменения приведут к тому, что миссия "Артемида - 2", которая является первой пилотируемой миссией, должна будет потенциально иметь в качестве даты запуска май 2024 года", - сказал он, комментируя развитие событий в рамках упомянутой программы. "Это, вероятно, отсрочило первую высадку человека [на Луне] как минимум до 2025 года", - отметил шеф американского космического ведомства.
"Однако этой пилотируемой высадке будет предшествовать непилотируемая посадка на Луне - на каком-то этапе перед высадкой людей", - добавил он.
